Capacitor is a device which store Electrical energy and release Electrical energy to the circuit.

Capacity of capacitance is measured by farad.

 C=Q/V farad. 

     Where  Q- charge 

                    V- Voltage 

                      C- capacitance 

Type of Capacitor 

Capacitors are many different types as..

1. Electrolytic capacitor 

2. Paper capacitor 

3. Mica capacitor 

4. Silver Mica capacitor 

5. Ceramic Capacitor 

6. Polyester type capacitor

Connection of capacitors are two different types there are below.. 

1. Series connection 

 1/C = 1/C1+1/C2+1/C3...+1/Cn 

2. Parallel connection 

C = C1+C2+C3....+ Cn
